New Sonda’s algorithms on FVC

Sonda submitted two new algorithms on the regular Fingerprint Verification Competition - the advanced fingerprint algorithm and the algorithm of palmprint identification. Results were published on July 14 for fingerprint algorithm and on July 18 for palmprint algorithm.

On July 13 the Sonda Technologies Ltd. specialists had a meeting with the Argentinian police delegation headed by Mr. Guillermo Berra, Deputy Minister and Auditor General of the Security Service of the Interior Ministry of the Buenos Aires province.

The scanner is designed for biometric identification systems with 2-, 4- and 10-finger registration. It captures two full fingerprints simultaneously.

It excludes the rolling procedure making the process of registration easier and faster. The fingers mixing up is practically impossible.

The unique сoncave prism captures 120° surface of a finger and provides high quality and accuracy. The fingerprint size is much larger than the area obtained with a flat prism scanner.

The scanner has compact and ergonomic design, comes with software and is ready for use right after installation.

The scanner is designed for the biometric registration of citizens. It captures a full fingerprint without the rolling procedure due to the unique volumetric prism which reads 120° surface of a finger and provides high quality and accuracy. The fingerprint size is much larger than the area obtained with a flat prism scanner.

The scanner has compact and ergonomic design, comes with software and is ready for use right after installation.

Sonda ACD-5 terminal combines three devices: fingerprint reader, proximity reader for EM-Marine cards or Mifare, controller of the actuators (turnstiles, electromagnetic locks and bolts).

The terminal is designed for biometric access control and time tracking systems. The terminal perfectly suits any kind of turnstiles and is ideal for office and industrial premises. The device is to be installed separately for entrance and exit. It easily integrates into any existing access control system.

Time & Attendance Terminal contains two optical sensors separately for Entrance and Exit.

On applying a finger to the corresponding sensor the system performs identification of employee and records his arrival or departure time. Due to special technology of the optical scanner and software the TATS terminal provides reliable and accurate identification for problematic fingers (dry or moist skin, the large number of folds or scratches).

None of the company staff can interfere in the terminal operation. None of them has access to database or results of identification.
